Words cannot begin to describe the pain and the emotions within this debate. Whether one admits it or not, this isn’t just a political issue this is also religious and personal. Obviously, I’m aware there are experiences/thoughts which I may never be able to fully understand, yet that’s no excuse for us to be ignorant on abortion; I like how this is addressed in chapter 5. As you may know, this is one of America’s most controversial of politics and I feel more people ought to learn about Abortions especially due to the seriousness behind them…
Though this wasn’t a book which talked about everything, for that book would be too long, I believe Dr. R.C Sproul did an excellent job with talking about the issue in his book Abortion in a fair and reasonable presentation. Dr. R.C. Sproul talked about many things such as the history of Abortion, the arguments for and against it, the scientific aspects, the religious aspects and biblical application, the emotional aspects, the government’s role, statistics, abortion myths, etc. As someone who is pro-life I thoroughly enjoyed reading his book because it was educational and inspiring. Though I doubt this is the miracle book to give to someone who is Pro-Abortion, (I say Pro-abortion because being Pro-Choice is not the same) I do believe this is a book which ought to be read especially those who are unsure and who are currently pregnant.
